Efter en spännande hajk är det dags att stilla hungern. Vårt unika matkoncept är noggrant framtaget för att erbjuda er en fantastisk matupplevelse tillagad av er, i naturen.
Vi erbjuder ett matpaket med härliga och lokala råvaror. Varje ingrediens är omsorgsfullt utvald för att skapa den bästa matupplevelsen, lagad utomhus.
Matpaketen som ni får vid incheckning innehåller ingredienser till middag, frukost och lunch/matsäck som medtas på dagens hajk.
Våra tält har designats med matlagning i åtanke. Varje tält har ett fullt utrustat kök där ni finner allt ni behöver för att tillreda alla måltider.
Matpaketet är laktos- och nötfritt. Ifall du har någon annan matallergi – meddela oss i bokningen så kan vi göra vårt yttersta för att anpassa recepten efter behov.
Så långt det är möjligt erbjuder vi ekologiskt odlade råvaror.
Matpaket ingår i alla våra paket.
Matpaket för 1 natt (24 timmar) innehåller:
Dag 1 – Middag – Grillad grön sparris med spenatpesto, gröna tomater och burrata. Svensk ryggbiff med bränd tomatsalsa, riven västerbottenost och Majskolvar.
Dag 2 – Frukost – Omelett.
Dag 2 – Lunch – Tunnbrödsrulle med salami, ruccola och brie.
Matpaket f • This is part 1 of 2 of the story of our two-week-long hike from Suorva to Kvikjokk through Sarek in late August and early September Prologue I have previously done a North-South tour of Sarek, which I have written about here, and so the aim for this trip was to explore new areas in the East-West direction. Since in my last hike, I connected Saltoluokta with Ritsem, I knew I wanted to connect Suorva with Kvikkjokk thereby exhausting all entry points into Sarek. In planning the hike I mainly used Claes Grundsten's and Hans Fowelin's books together with many great articles and discussions here on Utsidan. The story starts on the morning of the day before the hike in London. We caught the early flight to Stockholm and arrived there in the early afternoon luckily without any delays. We now had some time to grab lunch and most importantly to buy some gas which you are unable to transport on a plane. Finding somewhere to buy gas in Stockholm is of course not an issue and there is plenty of stock to choose from. We then made our way to the train station to catch the famous night train to Gallivare. As an aside, I want to add a paragraph about my perpetual struggles with bu • Hiking 5 of 5 stars (see reviews) In Västanvik, Östgötaleden's trail runs in an archipelago-like environment right by Lake Vättern. The trail, which is 10 km long, mostly follows paths along the shores of Lake Vättern among old pine trees with fantastic views over Lake Vättern. Parts of the trail go through a swamp forest on a paved trail and next to sheep pastures and a wetland. Smaller sections the trail is on small vägar near the urban area. The trail has a bird tower and a newly built windbreak. Evenly distributed along the trail, there are bathing areas and firesites with nice views over Lake Vättern. There fryst vatten also a dry dock at two of Västanvik's ports, open from spring to the end of October. You should bring your own charcoal to the firesites. In several places the trail goes over slightly steeper mountains and cliffs and fryst vatten therefore not adapted for the disabled and prams.
